I’m Riaz Hussain, President of the Edmonton Pashtoon Society and General Manager at Canadian Tire, bringing 23 years of robust leadership in management, Human Resources, and retail. Academically, I hold an MBA in Marketing and a Master’s in Botany (Plant Pathology).

I’m Saeed Ahmad Khan, your Vice President at Edmonton Pashtoon Society. I hold an MS in Power Engineering, earned at OSU-USA, and proudly stand as a University Gold Medalist from UET Peshawar. With 33 years as a Principal Engineer (Rtd.), I’ve led in multinational companies.
Beyond the professional realm, my heart lies in community social work. I’m also an avid table tennis player and a globe-trotter and find joy in camping, filming, gardening, and fishing. Let’s connect and make a positive impact together!
I’m Muhammad Ayub Durrani, a proud executive council member at the Edmonton Pashtoon Society. With over thirty years as a Senior Water Resources Engineer with Alberta Environment, I’m dedicated to strengthening Edmonton’s Pashtun and Pakistani communities.
I’ve received personal thanks from the Premier of Alberta for my contributions during the 2013 flood and earned recognition for outstanding work. Beyond work, I enjoy cricket, table tennis, family picnics, and social work. Connect with us to contribute to the vibrancy of our community.
I’m Arshad Ali, a Senior Advisor Policy at the Government of Alberta and a proud member of the Edmonton Pashtoon Association. My academic journey includes a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration, a Master’s in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, and an Honours Master’s in Agricultural Sciences from Agricultural University Peshawar.
With a rich background in community service, I’ve served as Resident Director at the Summerside Resident Association and as Executive Director at a watershed Association in Saskatchewan. My dedication to community and social work drives me to contribute wholeheartedly to the Edmonton Pashtoon Association, utilizing my expertise to its fullest capacity.

I’m Engr. Amir Saleem, with a rich history in the Oil & Gas industry in Alberta and a background as an executive electrical engineer with Pakistan Railways. Currently, I serve as an Executive Board of Directors member for PCAE and am a Founder and current Executive Board of Directors member for both EPS and FASP (Funeral Aid Society of Peel) in Toronto.
My commitment to community service extends to my role as an ex-member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Toronto Pashtoons Association (2001-2003) and as an ex-volunteer member of HMA (Halal Monitoring Authority) in Toronto. Social and community work is not just a commitment but a passion that drives me.
