The Edmonton Pashtoon Society is a vibrant and dynamic organization that serves as the heart of the Pashtun community in Edmonton, Canada.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create and maintain a Pakistani-Pashtoon Community in the Greater Edmonton Area, and to support and thrive the local members, new immigrants, and Pashtoon culture with respect, cooperation, and fairness.
Our Objective
To serve Pashtoons residing in the Greater Edmonton Region and to help integrate the Pashtoon community into Canadian Society.

I’m Riaz Hussain, President of the Edmonton Pashtoon Society and General Manager at Canadian Tire, bringing 23 years of robust leadership in management, Human Resources, and retail. Academically, I hold an MBA in Marketing and a Master’s in Botany (Plant Pathology).
